Responsibilities

  • Support monthly closing activities by providing necessary reports, documentation, and reconciliations.
  • Follow up on outstanding payments with customers and assist in managing credit control activities.
  • Perform basic bank reconciliations, assist in audit preparation, and support tax filing processes.
  • Provide basic financial advice to clients on cash flow and compliance.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations including SST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
  • Coordinate client-related administrative tasks and payroll-related tasks (e.g., processing payroll, generating statutory files, and online submissions).
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting; provide support during audits or tax filings.
  • Provide support for year-end closing processes and internal controls improvements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports; ensure compliance with statutory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the recruitment process for accounting and finance positions (posting ads, screening resumes, coordinating interviews).
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and board meetings.
  • Assist with system upgrades, data migrations, and documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with banks, auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to manage relationships and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, SST workings, and ensure regulatory compliance.
