Penerangan pekerjaanSPM or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in machinery operation or industrial maintenance is preferred. 3+ years of experience operating industrial machinery, ideally in a manufacturing environment with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Experience working in a Kraft paper conversion facility or similar manufacturing environment is a plus. Technical expertise in operating machines with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic controls. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly in identifying and resolving machine-related issues. Attention to detail and ability to monitor product quality and perform machine adjustments. Safety-conscious with knowledge of industrial safety practices and commitment to following established safety protocols. Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment, including nights and weekends as required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team setting. Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work with large industrial machines.
Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for efficiently operating and monitoring kraft paper conversion machines, performing minor adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Key tasks include conducting quality checks, assisting with preventive maintenance, tracking production metrics, and adhering to safety protocols.
The operator collaborates with the production team to identify process improvements and ensure consistent product quality while minimizing downtime and waste.
Responsibilities
- Operate kraft paper conversion machines, including mechanical systems, electrical controls, and pneumatic components.
- Monitor machine performance, conducting quality checks and minor adjustments as necessary.
- Assist with preventive maintenance, track production metrics, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the production team to identify process improvements and maintain product quality.
