Primary Function
Responsible for ensuring the quality assurance of all operational processes across the organization, meeting or exceeding customer expectations through effective quality management systems and procedures. This role also manages customer complaints and resolves quality issues through timely corrective and preventive actions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams on all quality-related matters.
- Manage customer complaints, ensuring rapid containment, thorough root cause analysis, and effective implementation of permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely communication via customer portals, reviews, and meetings.
- Coordinate and validate First Article (FA) inspections for new and revised parts.
- Review and resolve discrepancies prior to mass production release.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) project teams to establish quality requirements early in the development cycle.
- Support the creation of control plans, PFMEA, and inspection standards.
- Ensure all APQP and PPAP deliverables are completed and submitted to customers on time.
- Analyze quality performance data (PPM, scrap rates, rework, cost of poor quality).
- Apply statistical tools (SPC, Pareto analysis, trend charts) to identify and address recurring or emerging issues.
- Develop dashboards and quality KPIs to support management decisions and improvement tracking.
- Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Apply structured problem-solving methods (8D, A3, DMAIC) to eliminate root causes.
- Promote and sustain a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.
- Collaborate with customers to co-develop improvement programs focused on defect reduction.
- Share analysis, insights, and proposals for quality enhancements based on customer feedback and internal performance data.
- Monitor and report progress on joint initiatives and long-term quality roadmaps.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits; ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific quality standards.
- Contribute to the development, review, and updating of quality procedures and standards.
- Actively participate in periodic quality reviews.
- Perform any additional assignments as directed by the superior.
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.At least 3 years of experience, preferably in metal stamping and sheet metal fabrication.Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949.Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and CMM.Proficient in Quality Control tools (8D, FMEA, etc.).Job Types : Full-time, Permanent
