Responsibilities

Assess clients’ credit data & financial status
Evaluate creditworthiness and risks
Analyze & review risks of applications
Prepare & process financing applications for submission to the Credit Manager and higher authority, as well as review credit applications of marketing personnel and assist them when needed
Any other tasks as required by Credit Manager and / or management

Requirements

Proven 3 or more years work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role

Hands-on experience with lending procedures and products

Should have a good understanding of lending procedures while complying with the law

Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets

Strong analytical skills

Good time management

BSc in Accounting, Business, Banking and Finance, Economics or related field

Written & oral abilities in English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin & Japanese would be an added advantage
