Responsibilities

  • Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality and according to regulatory expectations.
  • Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, manufacturing areas and surfaces.
  • Develop, optimize, and validate microbiological testing methods to ensure they meet regulatory and product requirements.
  • Accurately record, analyze, and interpret data, presenting findings in reports for management and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain precise and compliant documentation, in accordance to good documentation practices, while contributing to audit-ready operations.
  • Investigate and resolve non-conformance microbiological issues, playing a vital role in continuous improvement and problem-solving.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments in Microbes lab.
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of SOPs, while adhering to Good Laboratory Practices. ï
  • Contribute to the development of new products and ingredients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such QA, Production, and R&D teams to drive product excellence and innovation.
  • Stay current with GMP, GLP and global regulatory standards, helping the company remain atthe forefront of compliance and quality

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelorâs Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2â3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated microbiology laboratory or laboratory with adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
  • Able to converse in English and Mandarin.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong knowledge of microbiological testing methodsï
  • Hands-on experience in environmental monitoring is an added advantage.
  • Skilled in handling laboratory instruments, calibration, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
