As a Multimedia Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Traveloka’s brand through innovative and compelling multimedia content. You will craft engaging motion graphics, videos and static graphic design visuals that simplify complex interactions and address challenging design problems. You will collaborate with copywriters, illustrators, and graphic designers to deliver high-quality designs that communicate effective messages across various media and channels. Your focus will split between motion graphics, videos and visual communication design, ensuring a seamless blend of multimedia and graphic design expertise.
Responsibilities & Creative Development
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders from the Marketing team to understand briefs and needs, and collaborate with copywriters to propose and develop concepts for videos, motion graphics, and other visual materials.
- Present creative concepts and design rationales to stakeholders to secure approval and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage and support the end-to-end creation of multimedia and visual design projects for all campaigns across business units to benefit Traveloka’s communication channels.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with the creative team to generate new ideas and resolve technical and design issues.
- Participate in a brainstorming session with Brand Identity Team to share and resolve technical issues, new design perspectives, ideas and guidelines.
- Supervise and provide guidance to external agencies and contractors involved in video production projects.
- Manage multimedia and visual design projects, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards.
- Research and stay updated on the latest design trends and techniques, understand design best practices, continuously experimenting with new formats and sharing knowledge with other team members.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.3-5 years of multimedia design experience, preferably in marketing & communication campaigns, and production experience which includes photo shoot & video production as well.Experience working in an in-house creative team or advertising agency; experience in the Singapore and Malaysia markets is a bonus.A diverse design portfolio showcasing modern, clean, outstanding and impactful design, motion and video work and creative ideation for campaigns in 360 channels (In-app, OOH, Digital display / ads, long and short format TVC or Digital video, etc.).Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with both Mac and Windows environments.Knowledge of 3D design software (Cinema 4D, 3ds Max) and familiarity with Figma is a plus.Impeccable skills in visual communication and a strong understanding of user behavior.Ability to quickly adapt to the company's style, brand and visual guidelines.Familiarity with AI-based and automation creative tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, Cape, Smartly.io, etc.).Advanced knowledge of in-app design (e.g., newsletters, landing pages, push notifications) and basic knowledge of digital ads (e.g., display, paid performance marketing) and even offline print materials / OOH.Strong design taste with up-to-date knowledge of the latest techniques, market trends, and industry insights in the Singapore and Malaysia markets.Able to multitask, with a critical eye for detail, resourceful and able to work under tight deadlines.Strong empathy in understanding online consumer behavior and the ability to convey ideas to support creative pitches.Self-driven in managing and accomplishing projects with minimal supervision.Seniority level
