Senior Cloud Sales

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Cloud Sales professional at Minfy, located in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Cloud Sales professional will be responsible for driving revenue growth and market share for public cloud services, primarily AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . This role focuses on acquiring new enterprise customers, expanding existing accounts, and managing strategic alliances with hyperscale principals. You will serve as the business lead for cloud transformation engagements, working closely with technical, marketing, and partner teams to deliver impactful, scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end sales for public cloud opportunities, from lead generation through deal closure, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and manage strategic alliances with hyperscaler principals (AWS / Microsoft / Google) to create joint go‑to‑market initiatives, co‑selling motions, and partner‑funded programs.
  • Identify and qualify new enterprise and mid‑market customers adopting public cloud for infrastructure, data, and application modernization.
  • Partner with cloud solution architects and presales teams to build competitive, technically sound cloud proposals and value propositions.
  • Engage with customer C‑level and IT stakeholders to understand digital transformation needs and position cloud‑native solutions.
  • Manage accurate sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting through CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and partner teams to organize cloud workshops, webinars, and customer enablement sessions.
  • Stay up to date on cloud trends, pricing changes, and incentive programs to optimize deal structures and profitability.
  • Support post‑sales adoption and customer success initiatives to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum – 8 to 15 years of experience in IT solution or cloud sales, with a strong focus on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) .
  • Demonstrated experience managing alliances and go‑to‑market activities with public cloud principals or distributors.
  • Solid understanding of cloud consumption models, cost optimization, and migration frameworks.
  • Proven consultative selling ability with strong business acumen—able to map technical cloud capabilities to measurable business outcomes.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for customer and partner engagements across Malaysia or regionally.
  • Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or GCP Sales / Associate Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience selling cloud‑native solutions such as containerization, serverless, or managed data platforms.
  • Background in working with ISVs, MSPs (AWS Partners), or system integrators in the public cloud ecosystem.
