Responsibilities and Duties :
Responsible to manage the business development in his / her assigned portfolio which leads to the achievement of the IBD department and company objectives on growth and profitability.
Assigned Portfolio : Direct Export Business.
Manage the business in the assigned countries and work closely with partners to achieve set business targets accordance to all required planning and budget activities.
To meet company's export growth expectations and directions by expanding company's market reach, increasing market penetration of existing market as well as venturing into new markets in the assigned territories.
To develop effective pricing strategies for each market and ensure that high growth segments are targeted, pursued and attained and to work closely with Business Managers (both locally and regionally) to develop sound rational marketing plans to maximize product position in market segments for both OTC and Ethical business and to manage performance of the appointed distributors.
To develop an efficient network by linking with Trade Councils and Government Trade Development organizations and tap on trade leads in their records / data as well as obtaining the latest information pertaining to the industry.
Identifying new opportunities and establishing new alliances and partnerships for aggressive growth and continuous innovation and improvement and persuasively gaining buy-in from all internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrating stature and judgment to effectively represent Duopharma in dealings with alliance partners and at government and regulatory platforms.
Supervise implementation of processes for budgeting, accounting and logistics, according to corporate guidelines requirements and advise on deviations and adapt planning and execution accordingly.
Job Specifications :
Master in Business and Administration, UTM
Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, UCSI University.
More than 5 years of International Sales experience in pharmaceutical industry
Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical industry at local and international environment settings
Strong business acumen and conceptual thinking abilities
Ability and skills in translating corporate vision, overcoming complex business challenges and delivering on high-impact decisions
A person committed to the company's core value of integrity, ethics, fairness, quality, service and innovation
Clear and transparent communication style
An energetic and committed individual, with a "hands-on" mindset
A collaborative, result-oriented individual
A quick learner with strong analytical skills and structured way of working
