IT Executive

Job Summary

The IT Executive is responsible for implementing new technology into their workplace, starting by researching developments on the market and determining company needs that technology could address. The IT Executive is also required to oversee their installation and train their staff to use the new technology during production.

Job Scope

  • Software
  • Providing necessary user-training, preparation of user-manual and system documentation after the system implementation
  • Assisting and educating users to improve performance / efficiency through the usage of IT capabilities and resources.

Provide helpdesk support for service now system, software and mobile device setup, basic printer setup and support

Website

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Go, Python, , is highly preferred, but candidates master with other programming language would also be considered
  • Build functional and visually appealing websites.

    • Perform Unit Testing, Integration and System Testing to ensure quality deliverables.

    Server

  • Onsite support device (server) maintenance job.
  • Configure access switches, wireless networks, ensure Fortinet firewall & IPsec VPN setup, and manage switch migrations and preventive maintenance.

    • Manage backups, data recovery, RAID arrays, SAN / NAS storage systems.

    Cyber Security

  • Perform rule reviews, object reuse, and policy optimization to ensure efficient and secure configurations
  • Monitor and respond to firewall-related alerts and incidents
  • Regularly update and maintain all security systems to ensure they are running the latest software and are free from vulnerabilities

    • Requirements

  • At least a recognized Degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in related field.
  • Strong knowledge in IT software & hardware field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Good attitude, willing to learn something new and sharing knowledge with the team

    • Job Type : Contract

    Contract length : 12 months

    Pay : RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
