About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic team at Lien Yaik Hardware (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Balakong, Selangor. This full-time internship offers valuable hands-on experience in office administration and operations, allowing you to develop essential professional skills and gain meaningful insight into the day-to-day functions of a successful hardware distribution business.

This is a great opportunity for students who are looking to gain real-world exposure, expand their knowledge beyond the classroom, and build a strong foundation for future career development.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide administrative support to the office, including filing, data entry, and general clerical duties
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating meetings, schedules, and company events
  • Help maintain documentation and records in both digital and physical formats
  • Assist in basic customer service and communication with suppliers or clients when needed
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by your supervisor

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree or diploma programme, such as Business Administration, Office Management, Auditing, Secretary Studies, or a related field
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in both English and Bahasa Melayu, written and spoken
  • Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude toward new tasks and challenges
