Overview

Corporate Planning Department functions are to support top management and to take lead on company-wide activities. Department roles including planning, developing, coordinating and implementing strategies to meet the objectives of overall company-wide corporate goals and KPIs.

Responsibilities

Administrative and Strategic Support

  • Assist DHOD to study and develop company-wide strategy and various company-wide KPI settings.
  • Support the formulation and management of goals (company / department / individual).
  • Help cooordinate meetings, briefings and training sessions for all level of employees.
  • Track and monitor progress of initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and execution.
  • Assist DHOD in visualisation of KPI management by establishing report, briefing, meeting or appropriate arrangement.
  • Manage preparation and maintenance of reports as necessary to carry out the department functions.
  • Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
  • Assist DHOD in making business travel bookings for flight, hotel, transport arrangement, draft itinerary for MD, Directors, Japanese expatriates & guests including receive, meet & greet visitors for MD, CFO, Japanese & Director's office.
  • Monitor and manage the reading (newspaper, magazine & others) subscription account for Japanese group and Directors\' golf subscriptions monthly fee for payment processing.
  • Assist DHOD in monitor and raise order for CP and Director's office supplies & upkeep maintenance for CP and Director's office equipments / machines / assets including Maintain Director's Office (MD's Room, Secretary's Room & Board Meeting Room) cleanliness and good condition standard.
  • Manage departmental claims and expenditures submission inline with monthly rolling forecast budgeting.

B. Plan, Promote and Execute the Company-Wide Activities

  • Assist DHOD to plan, make arrangement and manage other company-wide projects based on direction from management.
  • This including awareness, education and continuous activities to ensure employees understand and stay connected.
  • Promote activities to create ownership and sense of belonging amongst AMB employees including Ajinomoto Shared Value (ASV).
  • C. Lead of Company-Wide Governance

  • Assist DHOD in execution of governance operations as a reliable, independent and stand alone company.
  • Partnership with Auditor as appointed by company to ensure full compliance and good governance are achieved.
  • Establish a year-round theme planning and progress support in collaboration with Auditor.
  • In addition to Auditor's target themes, discover and explore governance issues and lead voluntarily improvement activities.
  • Professional relationship with relevant authorities and stakeholders which have interest in AMB business.
  • Ensuring compliance with system requirement within the area of responsibility :

  • ISO Integrated Management System.
  • HALAL System Assurance.
  • Food Safety and Food Defense.
