About the role

Gaumann Filtration Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Senai, Johor. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for career development within our growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, filters, and other production machinery
Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and implementing appropriate solutions to minimise downtime
Conducting routine inspections and maintaining detailed maintenance records
Collaborating with the production team to schedule and coordinate maintenance activities
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing them
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Providing technical guidance and training to maintenance technicians and operators

What we're looking for

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer in the manufacturing industry

Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, including pumps, filters, and production equipment

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and manuals

Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
