Overview

In a nutshell, you’ll be bringing great experiences to life through IoT based products and services. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team to build and launch IoT solutions in line with Expedio’s product development objectives. We’re looking for dedicated talent to go beyond the limits and deliver software and hardware solutions that add real value to people's lives. As an integral part of our team of creative thinkers, makers and design doers, you'll have the opportunity to take full ownership of and drive every aspect of software engineering and product development, from feature analysis and estimation to UX, architecture design, testing, deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of software engineering and product development from feature analysis and estimation to UX, architecture design, testing, deployment and monitoring.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver IoT solutions.

Requirements

Minimum BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Related Field. At least 1 year of professional experience with software and solution development

Solid understanding of the full web technology stack and a broad knowledge of the Java and JavaScript ecosystem

Experience in architecture design of high availability web applications, testing, deployment and monitoring

Experience working with databases

Up to date with the latest technologies

Work closely with a team comprising of industrial designers and mechanical / electronics / hardware engineers

Good communication skills
