Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
• Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
• Configure and manage Linux systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and security
• Use Ansible (or other CM tools) to automate server provisioning, configuration, and patching
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability across environments
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and IT teams to streamline deployment processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues
• Contribute to documentation and operational best practices
• Stay current with industry trends and recommend process improvements and new technologies

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps or infrastructure-focused role for Senior level and 2-4 years of professional experience for Mid level

Technical Skills :

• AWS : Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
• Linux : Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux systems
• IaC : Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure automation
• CI / CD : Experience with Jenkins and pipeline creation / management
• Configuration Management : Proficiency in Ansible or similar tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
• Scripting : Comfortable with shell scripting and basic programming (e.g., Python or Bash)
• Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Soft Skills :

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented with a focus on scalability, security, and performance

Preferred Qualifications :

• Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring / logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices
• Exposure to agile methodologies and DevOps culture
