Purpose Statement : The Cloud Architect has global responsibility for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure solutions. The Cloud Architect is the expert in cloud technologies, has a strong understanding of business needs, and the ability to translate technical requirements into scalable and reliable cloud architectures. The Cloud Architect will be forward-looking with a strategic and innovative mindset, ensuring technology trends are known and incorporated into our roadmaps.

Key Job Accountabilities

Responsible for the overall cloud architecture design.

Understand technology trends and incorporate those into strategic roadmaps to drive innovation and business growth.

Lead strategy and planning for cloud systems and develop effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures, and constraints of performance and feasibility.

Own the implementation and management of cloud technologies.

Ensure cloud security, governance, and awareness.

Education / Experience Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. (Computer Science / IT)

At least 4 years of experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud (preferred), Azure, or AWS.

Experience working with security, networking, and DevOps principles for 4 or more years.

Previous experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.

4 years of related experience required; 6 or more years preferred.

Certification in the related architecture field is desirable.
