About the role

We are seeking a dedicated QC Technician to join our team at LATICRETE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Rawang, Selangor. As a contract role, this position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufacturing processes and final products. Working in our quality assurance department, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high standards and delivering exceptional results to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Performing regular quality inspections and testing on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Documenting and analysing quality control data to identify trends and propose improvements
Collaborating with production teams to investigate and resolve quality issues
Maintaining accurate quality records and preparing reports for management
Ensuring all quality control procedures and protocols are followed
Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality standards
Assisting with the implementation of quality management systems and certifications

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a QC Technician or in a similar quality assurance role

Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and testing methods

Proficient in using quality control equipment and data analysis tools

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with production teams

Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001)

Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as chemical, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering
