Overview
We’re looking to add a Rework / Debug Engineer located in Prai, Penang .
Responsibilities
- Understands conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations.
- Prepares technical summary reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
- Interfaces and confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
- Uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software for examination purpose.
- Allocates defect causes to the various sources e.g. process, material, and prepares reports for follow other involved like quality, purchasing, SQA.
- Interferes with floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and / or software, as well as proper problem solving techniques.
- Resolves test yield problems by performing investigation of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
- Evaluate and configure digital circuits using Field programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Ball Grid Array (BGA).
- Resolves failures from Point of origin / point of detection.
- Evaluates and interprets test data and product performance with proper evidence of design related Failure Analysis Report.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in related functions.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide
