MoneySmart Group is South East Asia's leading personal financial portal helping consumers compare loans, insurance, and credit cards. MoneySmart was founded in 2009 with the simple aim to help consumers make better financial decisions.
Mission
MoneySmart generates leads on its platform in the form of customers who are in the market for a home loan and who are interested in connecting with a Mortgage Specialist. Your mission will be to promptly call all the leads assigned to you, find out more about these customers’ mortgage needs, compare among the different available options, advise them on the best-suited option, assist them on the application process and facilitate the follow-up until the loan is officially secured. Post-sales servicing and customer retention in the form of reviewing their home loan packages nearing to the end of their lock-in period so as to advise on the option of refinancing, are also crucial aspects of this role.
- Full work-from-home arrangement
- All leads will be provided by the company. No face-to-face interactions with customers required
- You will be provided with the necessary training on Singapore property purchase and refinancing process and mortgage products
- You may need to be available outside of standard working hours at times because customers may not be available during the day due to work commitments
Reporting to the Head of Advisory, this role offers an excellent opportunity to achieve great success on a personal and team level, contributing to the growth of the Group’s overall business in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Providing timely and excellent customer service for our customers who are seeking a mortgage for new purchase, refinancing or cash-out reasonsAdvising on the overall property purchase processAchieving monthly mortgage revenue targets and thinking of ways to maximise lead potentialEnsuring adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements as well as department policies and proceduresFollowing customer’s application through to approvalLiaising with bankers on rates and promotions on an ad hoc basisRequirements
At least 5 years of relevant experience in mortgage salesProficient in written and spoken EnglishHighly sales-oriented and goal-drivenGood product knowledge about home loans and the industryAble to work under pressure to meet or exceed monthly sales targets consistentlyShow resilience and persistence when faced with setbacks and challengesPossess good computer literacy and has experience in using CRMMeticulous in administrative matters - i.e. checking application paperwork and timely and accurate CRM data entryHighly responsive, provide top-notch service and competent advice, and get back to customers quickly in order to ensure excellent customer experienceSelf-motivated, disciplined, accountable, and committed to achieving your monthly sales targetsCulture values and tenets
