Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities :

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for optical components (e.g., fiber cables, connectors, optical modules).
• Provide technical support to production teams to solve process and product issues.
• Set up, test, and maintain machines and tools used for optical assembly and alignment.
• Create and update work instructions, procedures, and documentation.
• Monitor product quality and process performance using inspection tools (e.g., microscopes, power meters).
• Support the introduction of new products into mass production (NPI).
• Analyze production data to improve yield, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure consistent quality of materials and parts.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom, safety, and quality standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD).
