Audit Assistant Manager

Qualification

Minimum 5years+ of relevant audit experience in a similar position at a professional service organisation

Possess a Bachelor's Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, or those with a full or partial professional qualification - ACCA, MICPA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent.

MIA membership is an added advantage.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A team player with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

Willing to travel for client engagements when required.

Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Job responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance services, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work as well as continuous engagement in managing expectations and deliverables.

Possess solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles (e.g MPERS / MFRS and ISA), quality control standards and technology implementation procedures.

Cultivate an engaging work environment that promotes the Firm's culture of quality and excellence.

Lead audit teams to complete audit engagements within the stipulated deadlines.

Supervise and guide the audit team to carry out audit assurance assignments.

Report to engagement partners on audit progress findings,

Ensure audit is carried out in accordance with approved auditing standards and applicable financial reporting standards.

Other ad hoc assignment.
