About The Role

The Project Engineer, Clerk of Works (CSA) will be responsible for overseeing civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) works on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves monitoring contractors’ work, coordinating with consultants and project teams, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely progress.

What You’ll Do

Supervise all CSA works on-site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations.
Monitor construction activities and workmanship to maintain quality and safety standards.
Inspect and verify building materials and ensure proper usage as per specifications.
Report and document site progress, issues, and non-compliances to the project team.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical or site-related issues.
Ensure project timelines are met while maintaining cost and quality requirements.
Provide recommendations for corrective actions where necessary and support handover inspections.

About You

Diploma / Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, or related field

Minimum 5 years’ site experience with inspection in relevant trades (CSA or M&E)

Proven experience in Data Centre projects (preferred) with exposure to critical infrastructure, quality compliance, and fast-track delivery

Registered with CIDB Malaysia and possess a valid CIDB Green Card

Strong knowledge of building codes, QA / QC standards for Data Centre, UBBL, and BOMBA requirements.

Good communication and reporting skills in English.
