Responsibilities
Production Operations Management
- Develop scientific monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on company objectives and die casting industry characteristics.
- Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials efficiently to ensure machining tasks are completed on schedule to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Lead workshop site management, strictly applying 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to optimize layout, improve environment, and promote safety, orderliness, and efficiency.
Equipment & Technology Management
Oversee full lifecycle of department machining equipment, including selection, purchasing, installation, maintenance, upgrades, and disposal.Formulate maintenance schedules and operating procedures; organize routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.Quality Management
Enforce company quality management system and formulate departmental standards and inspection protocols, considering die casting machining product features.Define quality control points and testing methods for each process, ensuring products meet customer and industry standards.Team Building & Management
Develop recruitment, training, and promotion plans per departmental production needs.Identify, develop, and retain talent; optimize team structure to build a professional, capable, and collaborative machining workforce.Cost Control
Set departmental cost control targets and measures.Strictly control production costs, including material consumption, energy use, equipment maintenance, and labor.Optimize manufacturing processes, improve equipment utilization, and strengthen material management to reduce unit costs and enhance profitability.Safety & Environmental Management
Implement safety regulations and company safety policies, developing department-level safety procedures and operations manuals.Organize safety training and educational activities, increase safety awareness, and ensure accident-free operations.Requirements
Education
Associate degree or above, major in die casting, mechanical engineering, or related discipline preferred; vocational certifications (e.g. Mechanical Engineer, Mold Engineer) considered an asset.Experience
Minimum 5 years' machining experience and at least 3 years' management experience in machining departments.Familiarity with die casting machining processes and production management models is preferred.Professional Skills
Proficient in mechanical design and manufacturing software such as CAD; capable of product design, process planning, and machining programming.Experienced with common equipment (CNC lathes, CNC mills, machining centers), and skilled in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.General Qualities
Strong planning and organizational skills to schedule production tasks and resources efficiently.Responsibility, professional ethics, ability to handle pressure and adapt to high-intensity environments.
