Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack, Back‑End Focused)

Join the team at Reap, a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong, building stablecoin‑enabled finance solutions.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will design, develop, and deploy scalable applications in our AWS environment, ensuring high quality and supporting product development from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications in our AWS environment, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to high‑quality standards.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams (product managers, designers, other engineers) to ensure seamless product development from concept to deployment.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our tech stack modern and competitive.
Build functional monitors and alerts; investigate production incidents and apply learning to code.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of backend‑focused development experience with a proven track record of successful projects.

Strong knowledge in scalable software application design, API design, and design patterns; familiarity with microservices, event‑driven, serverless, Node, TypeScript, NestJS, Spring, etc.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and passion for debugging.

Proficiency with relational databases (AWS Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (TypeORM, Hibernate, etc.).

Experience in credit cards, payments and AWS certification is an advantage.

Remote work friendly; part of a global, dynamic team.
