Develop and manage the daily production plan based on customer demand and Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) performance.
Monitor and track daily output performance against targets, implementing immediate corrective actions for deviations.
Control Work-In-Progress (WIP) levels to optimize flow, minimize bottlenecks, and ensure inventory accuracy.
Ensure all production processes adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and customer specifications.
Manage the end-to-end material flow process, from receiving materials from the warehouse / store to timely delivery on the production floor, utilizing the SAP system effectively.
Ensure accurate material consumption reporting, inventory transactions, and system traceability within SAP.
Coordinate with the Logistics / Materials team to resolve material shortages, expedite critical parts, and manage incoming material quality issues impacting the line.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and resource constraints (manpower, equipment, materials) to maximize throughput.
Manage and drive continuous improvement on key operational cost controls, including :
Scrap Cost : Implement measures to reduce material wastage and drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on all significant yield losses.
Direct Labor (DL) Cost : Optimize staffing, manage labor efficiency, and minimize idle time.
Indirect Materials / Consumables : Monitor and control the usage of consumables and indirect materials to stay within budget.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Production Supervision or Management, preferably within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
In-depth working knowledge of the SAP system as it relates to material movements, inventory management, and production order execution.
Proven track record of managing and leading a large, diverse team (30+ people) in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, quality control systems, and cost management techniques (Scrap, DL / IE).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Shift : Required to manage both Day & Night operations (Supervision and Management presence is required across shifts).
Work Hours : Standard Shift Hours are 7 : 30 am to 7 : 30 pm (12-hour shift, inclusive of handover).
Work Days : Monday to Friday , with Saturday Overtime (OT) based on production requirements.
