About the Department
Our Procure to Pay (P2P) team within GFS handles the end-to-end process of acquiring goods and services and the related payments to suppliers. This includes procurement process management, invoice processing, payment processing, supplier relationship management, employee expense reimbursement, and ensuring procurement activities align with internal policies and compliance.
Typical Accountabilities
Review and validate invoices and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of invoice processing within the agreed timeline.
Resolve all Level 2 accounts payable queries within the agreed timeline.
Perform AP balance sheet reconciliation activities such as clearing aged items (e.g., GR / IR accounts).
Investigate outstanding open items or issues and work collaboratively with vendors and business users to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit queries as necessary.
Support development / changes in systems, transactions and processes, including preparing and updating process documentation and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with key controls as identified in the FCF / SOX documentation.
Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to in the processing of invoices.
Support the team lead and team members in BAU activities to enhance the effectiveness of the team, including helping new joiners settle into their roles.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting / business administration or equivalent.
Minimum 1-2 years of accounting work experience. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Graduates pursuing a professional qualification (Part Time) in ACCA, CIMA or other relevant qualifications are welcome.
Knowledge and experience in SAP, Coupa, Kofax or other ERP systems is an added advantage.
Experience of working in a shared service centre across a global / large organization is preferred.
Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively and accurately.
Inquisitive, investigative with critical thinking and good problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and effectively in both English and Thai.
