About the role

Are you a talented Website Designer looking to join a dynamic and creative marketing agency? We are seeking a skilled Website Designer to join our team at Marketing Connection Studio Sdn. Bhd. in the vibrant city of George Town, Penang. This full-time role will see you creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that effectively communicate our clients' brands and drive their online success.

What you'll be doing

Designing, developing and maintaining high-quality, responsive websites that meet the unique needs of our diverse client base
Collaborating closely with our clients to understand their brand, target audience and digital marketing goals, and translating these into innovative web designs
Implementing the latest web design trends and best practices to ensure optimal user experience and engagement
Designing wireframes, mockups and prototypes to visualise website concepts and gather client feedback
Ensuring website designs are pixel-perfect, cross-browser compatible and adhere to accessibility standards
Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise during the website development and testing process
Providing ongoing maintenance and updates to existing client websites as required

What we're looking for

A diploma or degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Design or a related field

At least 2-3 years of experience as a Website Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and creativity. Fresh Grad are encourage to apply as well.

Proficiency in using web design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma and InVision

Solid understanding of responsive web design principles, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, Opencart or Joomla

Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with clients and cross-functional teams

An eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly web experiences

The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
