Job Description

Are you an innovative and analytical professional looking to make a significant impact?

We are seeking a talented individual in Costing, Pricing & Proposal to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to develop precise cost estimates, craft competitive pricing strategies, and create compelling proposals that drive our business forward. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, sales, and finance experts, to deliver solutions that meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential sources for project proposals, ensuring alignment with project requirements and company standards.
Utilize expertise in engineering, economics, or finance to analyze project requirements, develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and other resources, and efficiently allocate necessary resources to meet project demands.
Formulate competitive pricing strategies that align with our company’s objectives and market conditions.
Create comprehensive and persuasive proposals, integrating both technical and commercial aspects to secure new business opportunities.
Conduct in-depth analysis of historical data, market trends, and competitor pricing to inform strategic decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and finance, to gather necessary information and ensure project alignment.
Identify potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimates and proposals and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Maintain meticulous records of cost estimates, pricing models, quotation and proposal documents for future reference and audits.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends to continuously enhance our costing, pricing, and proposal processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, etc.).

Strong Analytical skills and the ability to manage complex data sets.

Knowledge in building spreadsheet models.

Understanding of project costs (material, labor, etc.) and the ability to integrate financial considerations into business decisions.

Ability to work with bills of materials (BOM) and understanding engineering drawing is an advantage, but on-the-job training will be provided.

Must be proactive, committed, result-oriented, and multi-tasking.

Positive attitude, willing to face and deal with challenges.

Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin is preferable.
