Purpose
The Trial Capabilities (TC) Internship provides undergraduate or graduate students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in clinical research and development. Working alongside the GBSKL TC team, interns will assist in the preparation, maintenance, and closure of investigator sites, as well as ensuring inspection readiness at all times. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to participate in a mini project as part of the GBSKL TC team's process improvement initiatives. The internship also promotes relationship building with TC team members through participation in team building activities.
Key Responsibilities
Complete all onboarding modules and Trial Capabilities (TC) curriculum as assigned by GBSKL HR and TC management.
Assist Trial Capabilities Specialists (TCS) or Associates (TCA) with clinical study and investigator site management activities.
Support routine TC operations, including :
Perform quality checks (QC) on documents related to Trial Capabilities.
Participate in process improvement projects by analyzing data and identifying areas for enhancement.
Undertake mini projects to improve digital tools, such as :
Expanding SharePoint sites with AI features.
Enhancing Microsoft Lists for better integration with Copilot.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, Lilly medical policies, procedures, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Engage in team-building and other activities organized by the GBSKL teams.
Requirements :
A degree or equivalent preferably in a scientific or health related field
Able to commit to a full-time internship (at least 3 months)
Have aptitude in learning new skillsets and knowledge
Willing to learn and comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
Good interpersonal communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
Good written and verbal communication skills including good command of English
Good word processing skills and knowledge of MS Office applications
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Effective team player
Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and all personnel in Lilly’s GBSKL organization
Language Capabilities – English (read, write, conversation) and local language, as applicable
Desirable :
Basic knowledge about AI
Applied knowledge of project management processes and skills
Appreciation of / experience in compliance-driven environment
