Lead and manage assigned tenders from BD / Sales Handover until each Opportunity is secured / lost.
Support the Global Sales & BD Managers, and Heads of IPE team in client correspondence, communication and in building Client relations to maximize current and future opportunities.
Develop and maintain key supplier relations in order to maximize performance to suit tendering needs.
Actively provide input and work with the global tender procedures and tools, to ensure these are continuously updated according to Tender Team needs.
Ensure proper interface communication with Sales, Procurement engineering & Operation Functions.
Ensure risk management of assigned tender as per company procedure.
Excellent Communication skills – Able to develop & maintain strong working relations with clients, colleagues, and suppliers / partners to understand complex requirements, and utilize these relationships to efficiently deliver successful outcomes.
Analytically Minded with a strong Technical Ability.
Highly Organized – this role requires a high level of personal organization, and the ability to constantly re-assess priorities to consistently achieve challenging deadlines.
Fluent in English both written and verbal.
Process-driven – you will be able to grasp the required processes for producing tenders and apply them seamlessly to a variety of different scopes.
Pro-active, with the ability to juggle multiple complex tenders whilst retaining focus on the individual needs and time constraints of each.
Extensive knowledge of project and tender execution principles is an advantage.
Continuous improvement focus – you will be able to analyze the effectiveness of processes and tendering tools and recommend updates to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Ability to write compelling, attractive tender documentation that is easy to understand and positions the business well to the client.
Previous experience in a client-facing position, interpreting complex specification-driven requirements, and subsequently leading multiple in-house technical disciplines and external sub-suppliers to compile Proposals under tight deadlines is desirable.
