Product Specialist is the driver of solution to the business requirement or user journey. The job holder has sound understanding on the product capabilities of the system / platform and able to drive solution with product owner, architect, vendor and supporting technology team. The job holder possesses deep Wealth Journey / WM Advisory knowledge with right skills and experiences to work on product innovation along with team and product vendors. They work with product owner to derive product / system roadmap to deliver fit for purpose capabilities. This person should also be committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape in banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of functional standards and best practices
  • Acts as a conduit for the wider domain strategy, for example technical standards.
  • Prioritizeand makes available capacity for technical debt.
  • Experienced practitioner and hands on contribution to the squad delivery for their craft (Eg. Engineering).
  • Responsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.
  • Adopt and embed the Change Delivery Standards throughout the lifecycle of the product / service.
  • Follows the chapter operating model to ensure a system exists to continue to build capability and performance of the chapter.

Skills and Experience

At least 12 years of experience in IT industry and 5 years in WM Advisory systems with at least 6 years in People Leader experience.

Strong understanding of WM Advisory systems’ architecture, functionality, and capabilities, with hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, customisation, and integration.

Prior experience with Finantix Platform will be added advantage.

Familiar with MS Dynamics as a product; preferably a functional architect / expert on this product

  • Familiar with banking environment & agile practices
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement skills.

    • Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree, or higher, in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
