Project Engineer (Water / Wastewater Engineering) – Trident Innovations Sdn Bhd
Job Description
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate resources, both human and material, to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Perform or oversee the design of water / wastewater treatment plants (Mechanical and Electrical) and related infrastructure.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
- Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Prepare & execute procurement documents, including specifications and requests for proposals (RFPs) and price negotiation for Mechanical / Electrical.
- Evaluate bids and select contractors and suppliers.
- Manage contracts, including negotiation, change orders, and compliance.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control measures.
- Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and industry codes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact (will be appointed as Construction Manager for the designated project) for clients during the construction phase.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Execute the project document standardization (design templates, SOP & checklist) and filing systems and processes.
