This is a high-visibility leadership role for a changemaker who thrives at the intersection of corporate affairs, government relations, sustainability, and regional influence. You'll be the driving force behind stakeholder engagement and impact programs across MYSG and SEA.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess the public policy landscape in Malaysia and Singapore to identify risks and opportunities that may impact the business, and develop proactive engagement strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, NGOs, trade associations, and scientific leaders to support the company's corporate affairs agenda.
- Represent the company in industry forums and regulatory dialogues, ensuring its voice is heard on key public and policy issues.
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on external affairs, helping shape positioning and engagement with stakeholders.
- Localize global advocacy and communications frameworks to ensure consistency while adapting to regional and market-specific contexts.
- Lead the design and execution of sustainability initiatives in MYSG that align with national regulations and community needs.
- Develop and manage programs that address health, social, and environmental challenges, delivering measurable impact.
- Coordinate regional sustainability efforts across Southeast Asia, including progress on certification frameworks such as B-Corp.
- Collaborate with external partners to co-create scalable sustainability programs that align with both business and societal goals.
- Oversee governance, funding, and performance tracking of sustainability projects across the SEA cluster to ensure accountability and effectiveness.

A degree in Communications, Law, Public Policy, Sustainability, or related disciplines.12-15 years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Government Relations, Communications, CSR, or Sustainability.Strong networks and experience engaging MYSG and SEA government agencies.Expertise in stakeholder mapping, policy advocacy, and external influence.Familiarity with sustainability certifications and impact measurement frameworks.Proven leadership and negotiation skills in complex stakeholder environments.What's on Offer
