A key member to Head Finance Group Technology & Digital (GTD) that play a crucial role in supporting GTD Finance transformation, financial planning and drive cost optimization strategy, by analysing costs, identifying and executing cost-saving initiatives. Provide recommendations for management to make informed decisions to drive cost efficiencies and strategy planning.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to spending trends, ratio analysis and benchmarking against competitor and industry trends, and provide recommendations to aid business decisions and strategies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts the trends to identify risk of potential cost overruns. Develop and implement cost control processes and procedures to mitigate risks.
• Research and identify opportunities for improving operation processes and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate across departments to gather data, align strategies and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for cost analysis results to the management, present the progress of the cost-saving project implementation.
• Perform study on the cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit to evaluate the financial impact of potential business decisions and strategy.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budget and provide guidance on the cost drivers.
