Project Manager
at bp, you will drive the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology products, platforms, and services. Using a mix of structured methodologies—including Agile—you’ll ensure that each initiative aligns with bp’s strategic goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a talent for aligning stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. You will work as a member of a high-energy, top-performing team of engineers to shape the vision and drive the execution of compute and data platforms that make a real impact.
What You’ll Deliver
Project and Program Management : Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and delivery roadmaps. Agile Delivery Oversight : Operate within Agile frameworks, monitor progress, resolve cross-team dependencies, and ensure value is delivered continuously. Risk and Change Management : Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, adapt plans to accommodate change, and keep objectives on track. Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners; serve as a central communication hub across the project lifecycle. Continuous Improvement : Lead efforts to standardize and optimize delivery practices, driving a culture of continuous learning and improved outcomes.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Core Skills and Competencies : Strong communication, strategic / problem-solving mindset, data-informed decision making, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder management. Preferred Experience : Experience in project management or related field; familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Azure DevOps; foundational understanding of Agile methodologies.
