Overview

The Global Partnerships Manager (Senior) is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth on a global scale. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of international markets, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across various industries. Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, relationship building, and lead generation.
  • Convert incoming leads and filter prospects for our various business models (inbound sales).
  • Stakeholder management to complete onboarding process (client success).
  • Account management for existing partners, expanding new market and growth opportunities through creating proposals to strengthen partner relationships (key-account management).
  • Research and analyse market trends, new market opportunities and tackle growth hurdles (strategy and growth projects).
  • Collaborate with product development to lead the corporate payment segment and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Over 3 years of B2B / software sales or payment model sales experience.
  • Over 3 years of account management in fintech / payments / tech industries.
  • Relevant growth / networking experience in the industry and familiarity with regulatory / payment requirements.
  • Experience in sales cycles, lead conversion, and account / partnership management.
  • Experience in related industries like cross-border or international remittance, payments, financial services, client / personal banking, and fintech preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent; fluent in English (additional languages advantageous).
  • Strong presentation, communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Meticulous, responsible, with strong ownership and time management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; managerial experience preferred.
  • Willingness to grow in a fast-paced environment with career opportunities.
  • Malaysian-based in the Malaysian office; 60% travel required.
