Assistant Vice President - Business Continuity Management (BCM)
Oversee the development of the BCM resilience model, and support the review, testing and simulation of BCM plans.
Prepare quarterly BCM reports for submission to the Board Audit & Risk Committee and Management.
Collaborate with Business Operations and Enabling Functions to integrate BCM practices into business processes and decision-making.
Coordinate and facilitate BCM workshops, exercises and awareness programmes to strengthen organisational preparedness.
Assist in the design, review and implementation of comprehensive BCM policies, procedures and frameworks.
Support the conduct of Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and Threat Assessments to identify potential risks affecting the organisation’s operations, including financial, operational, reputational and regulatory risks.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, industry peers, and vendors, to stay updated on BCM issues and best practices.
Support the development and delivery of BCM training and awareness programmes for staff at all levels.
The Incumbent :
Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years of working experience in BCM or related risk management roles.
Proven experience in leading risk assessments, business impact analyses, and continuity planning exercises.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong leadership and project management capabilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving results.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with risk management systems (e.g., AxcelRadar) will be an added advantage.
