Senior Specialist, Front-End Developer (NADI) – TNG Digital

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Overview

We are hiring a Senior Front-End Developer to lead and guide the current team, translate business requests into high quality applications, and continuously improve application performance and development processes.

Responsibilities

Lead and provide guidance to the current team.
Translate business requests and prototypes into high quality applications.
Apply software development practices including E2E SDLC, understanding business specifications, design, coding, test, deployment, release, monitor, and support.
Ensure good coding practices and maintain high coding standards.
Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new mobile technologies and features.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Maintain Web Distribution Channel, such as Web Servers, CDN and more.
Provide suggestions to improve the team’s capabilities, application quality, and development process. Automation knowledge is a bonus.
Independently drive projects to meet business goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Development in HTML5, CSS3, JS ES6 (Bonus : TypeScript, LESS and SASS).

Solid understanding of web distribution channels (Web Servers, CDN, etc.).

Experience with Angular, Vue, React.

Knowledge of transpiler tools, build tools, CI / CD methodology, and application security.

Intermediate experience with REST, JSON, and JWT.

Intermediate experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

Intermediate experience with unit testing (Bonus : TDD, BDD, and automation).

Intermediate experience with software design patterns.
