Job description

Job Title : Video Editor (Hybrid)

Location : Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur (Conveniently located near LRT Bangsar)

Allowance Paid : RM 3300 – RM 3700

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Video Editor and creative team for pre-production, including conceptualizing, planning, scripting, storyboarding, creating a production timeline, and directly engaging video content for various platforms.
  • Produce high-quality video marketing and educational content for different format sizes (LMS, social media, website, etc.).
  • Edit video content independently or collaboratively, ensuring it aligns with brand identity, campaign objectives, and platform requirements.
  • Assist the Video Editor in managing post-production workflows, including rough cuts, revisions, and final exports.
  • Maintain consistency in visual style, pacing, and storytelling across all content produced.
  • Source or create supporting elements such as motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and transitions..
  • Ensure timely delivery of video assets, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of proven experience in video editing, post-production, or related roles.
  • Experience in creating educational and training video material is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI video generation tools (e.g., Runway, Pika Labs, Sora, D-ID, HeyGen, etc.) is a plus.
  • Portfolio submission is mandatory

  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
  • Creative eye for visual storytelling, including framing, composition, and color grading.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Languages required : English - as most video content and scripting will be produced in English, proficiency is essential for effective communication across multi multinational team and content accuracy.
