Legal Transaction Executive

Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Transaction Executive to join our Legal Team to assist with the smooth execution of financing transactions. While your primary responsibility will be in relation to Transaction Delivery, there may be opportunities to assist in general commercial matters at Riverchain. A legal background is beneficial and a formal legal qualification is not necessary.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end execution of financing transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Conduct thorough pre-transaction checks, including reviewing contracts, company information, legal documentation, and other materials.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive the completion of transaction-related tasks.
- Manage the documentation process from drafting and review to execution, filing, and monitoring contractual compliance.
- Conduct post-transaction monitoring and reporting, tracking key performance indicators and proactively identifying potential issues.
- Review and analyse transaction processes to recommend and implement improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Relationship Managers and the Credit Team to facilitate transaction structuring, execution and ongoing monitoring.
- Provide support on general commercial legal matters, including legal research and contract drafting, review and negotiation.
- Assist with corporate governance matters such as preparing board resolutions, notices, and regulatory filings
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in law. CLP, PCLL or other legal qualification is advantageous but not necessary.Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within financial services, legal or fintech industries is highly desirable. Exposure to trade finance, supply chain finance, construction finance or related sectors is a plus.Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Strong understanding of transaction processes, legal documentation and risk management principles.Excellent written and verbal communication English and Chinese skills (preferably Cantonese).Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.Self-motivated individual with strong initiative and drive, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer :
