Job description4–8 years of software testing experience with both manual and automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, or similar tools). Strong background testing Java applications, REST / SOAP services, APIs, and Oracle databases. Experience in mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms. Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
A leading global financial institution is looking for an Associate Quality Engineer to join their team in Malaysia. This position will play a key role in ensuring the quality of critical software solutions across fast-paced Agile projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and documentation to identify potential issues early in the development cycle.
- Develop and execute test plans, specifications, and environments for manual and automated testing.
- Perform functional and technical testing, log and track defects to closure, and ensure accurate test reporting.
- Support Test Leads in monitoring, reporting, and day-to-day test management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings, providing insights into test quality, risks, and progress.
