People Profilers is supporting a global life sciences solutions provider in the search for a regional sales leader to head its Medical Device portfolio. This role carries overall responsibility for sales, marketing, customer engagement, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership to drive growth, deliver operational excellence, and build long-term customer partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional medical device business unit sales, setting clear direction for commercial, operational, and customer-focused outcomes.
- Drive revenue growth by shaping customer strategies, managing key projects, and ensuring strong execution across the team.
- Strengthen customer partnerships by supporting account managers and engaging directly with major stakeholders.
- Formulate strategies to expand market presence and capture new business opportunities within the process and life sciences sectors.
- Oversee pricing and profitability, balancing competitiveness with sustainable margins.
- Guide marketing initiatives and ensure product launches are supported with the right commercial approach.
- Manage budgets, forecast accurately, and report on the unit’s P&L performance.
- Develop the team through mentoring, training, and structured performance management.
- Partner cross-functionally with other business leaders to align on growth objectives and share best practices.
- Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Identify risks and operational challenges, resolving them swiftly to maintain customer trust and business continuity.
- Champion initiatives that optimize internal processes, enhance efficiency, and support long-term growth.
- Ensure strategic and financial growth through effective business management.
- Drive process improvements and resolve issues impacting operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.8–10 years’ experience in managing business units or sector teams, ideally within the life sciences, process, or related technology-driven industries.Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate data for decision-making.Proven capability to identify risks, seize opportunities, and take proactive actions.Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging both local and international stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and achieve ambitious sales and operational targets.A collaborative and motivating leadership style, fostering teamwork and professional growth.Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and business development.Ideal Profile
