Job Title : Technical Project Manager (IT Infrastructure – Data Center)

Location : Malaysia

Department : IT Infrastructure / Data Center Projects Reports To : Head of IT / Data Center Operations Director Position Overview

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with strong experience in IT infrastructure and data center environments to lead and deliver critical IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network, server, and storage systems , combined with excellent project coordination skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English, Mandarin / Malay with regional teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver end-to-end IT infrastructure projects across data center environments (deployment, migration, upgrades, system integration).
• Plan project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets in collaboration with technical and business teams.
• Oversee the implementation of network systems, virtualization platforms, storage, backup, and security solutions .
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
• Lead change management, testing, and commissioning of IT systems in production environments.
• Ensure compliance with data center operational standards, cybersecurity, and SLA requirements .
• Prepare and maintain project documentation , status updates, and management reports.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support the handover to operations and ensure smooth transition to BAU (Business-as-Usual).
