Senior Network Administrator
We are seeking a
Senior Network Administrator
to manage, optimize, and secure our global network infrastructure. This role combines hands-on engineering with operational leadership, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud-connected environments.
Key Responsibilities
Network Operations & Maintenance
- Monitor uptime, performance, and availability of network systems.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and security updates to maintain stability.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, SLAs, and ITIL processes.
- Collaborate with support teams on incident, change, and problem management.
Design, Build & Deployment
Design and implement LAN, WAN, WLAN, and load balancing solutions.Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, STP, and Wi-Fi access points.Deploy and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), VPNs (Global Protect, IPsec), and endpoint security solutions.Automate provisioning and configuration via Ansible, Terraform, or Python.Advanced Troubleshooting & Support
Act as L3 support for complex incidents and recurring problems.Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.Proactively ensure network stability, redundancy, and lifecycle consistency.Provide detailed reporting on incidents, performance, and capacity.Reporting, Documentation & Lifecycle Management
Produce regular network performance and incident trend reports.Maintain dashboards for real-time monitoring and alerting.Keep documentation (diagrams, SOPs, change logs) updated.Plan and execute lifecycle upgrades and capacity expansion.Core Technical Skills
Cisco Networking: VLANs, STP optimization, EtherChannel, ACLs, HSRP / VRRP, NetFlow / SNMP (CCNA required; CCNP preferred).
Palo Alto Firewalls: NAT, App-ID / User-ID, VPN (GlobalProtect, site-to-site), HA configuration, SIEM integration.
Infoblox: DNS / DHCP / IPAM, Grid management, DNSSEC, API-driven automation.
SD-WAN: Architecture design, traffic steering, cloud integration (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Monitoring Tools: SolarWinds NPM / NTA, custom dashboards, syslog / SNMP configuration.
Security: Firewall administration (Palo Alto, Fortinet), reverse proxy, remote access.
Secondary Skills (Nice to Have) :
Network automation (Python, Ansible, PowerShell).Configuration management (Git).Documentation (Visio diagrams, runbooks).Security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).What We're Looking For
10 yearsof IT infrastructure experience, with at least
5-7
years in network administration
Deep knowledge ofCisco, Palo Alto, Infoblox, and Azure Firewall
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication in English (French reading is a plus).A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with eagerness to learn.
