Job Description :
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot network switches, wireless access points (APs), and routers.
- Implement configurations, upgrades, and patching in line with best practices.
- Ensure network performance, uptime, and availability.
- Perform security reviews, implement access controls, and monitor logs for anomalies.
- Maintain and support PABX / IP-PBX systems, including user extensions, call routing, and integration with network infrastructure.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain Windows / Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, email systems, and file servers.
- Perform regular server backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Act as the onsite technical escalation point for IT issues.
- Provide technical guidance and support for academic and administrative staff.
- Liaise with external vendors for hardware / software support when required.
- Maintain updated technical documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide regular operational and incident reports to client management.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field.Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and system administration.Strong technical knowledge of :
Networking : VLANs, routing, switching, wireless technologies (Fortinet / H3C / Sangfor preferred).
Firewalls & Security : Fortinet, Sangfor, Cisco ASA, or equivalent.
Servers & Systems : Windows / Linux environments, Active Directory, backup solutions.
Telephony : PABX / IP-PBX administration.
Experience in backup management and disaster recovery planning.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
