Job Summary :
The C hief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for directing and overseeing all financial activities of the Group, including the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, forecasting for future growth, and establishing policies for the Group. This role is pivotal in driving the Group’s financial strategy, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and fostering growth in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the Group’s overall goals.
- Act as a strategic partner to the Executive Committee, offering insights on financial implications of business decisions.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Oversee the preparation and communication of financial statements and reports.
- Ensure the Group’s financial health through rigorous cash flow management and efficient use of resources.
- Optimise the capital structure and recommend financing strategies.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, including tax compliance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing function.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Serve as the primary contact for investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Must have Chartered Qualifications such as ACCA / CPA / CIMA & etc.Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role or equivalent role.Proven track record of success in the retail industry is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of corporate financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic planning.#J-18808-Ljbffr
