Sports Direct Malaysia operates 40 retail stores domestically and manages a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce site for domestic and regional fulfillment. The company offers over 70 leading authentic global sports brands and employs over 1000 staff with plans to expand rapidly across Asia.

The stores are zoned by key sports categories : SD Football, SD Running, SD Training, SD Rackets, SD Swimming, SD Sports, SD Lifestyle, and SD Outdoor.
Job Description
Website & Store Management
- Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the e-commerce website to ensure optimal performance, speed, and user experience.
- Understand the overall e-commerce flows within the organization and upkeep the web platforms in accordance with guidelines.
- Implement and maintain product assortment, ensuring accurate categorization, compelling product descriptions, high-quality imagery, and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and manage website stock availability in collaboration with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory representation and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Sales & Performance Optimization
Plan, execute, and monitor online sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.Continuously analyze user behavior and conversion funnels to identify and implement website optimizations that improve sales conversion rates.Reporting & Analytics
Generate regular and comprehensive reports on key e-commerce metrics, including sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.Utilize analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Google Analytics) to interpret data, provide actionable insights, and drive data-backed decisions for growth.Monitor competitor activity and market trends to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day e-commerce tasks, working closely with Marketing for traffic generation and campaign alignment.Coordinate with the Commercial / Buying team regarding product assortment planning, pricing, and promotional strategies.Liaise with the Warehouse / Operations team to streamline order fulfilment, logistics, and inventory accuracy.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tasks.Any other assignments as directed by immediate superior as and when required.Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in an e-commerce, retail, or business development role.Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or equivalent practical experience).Strong business acumen backed by an analytical mindset. Comfort generating, evaluating, and presenting forecasts, metrics, and business analyses (e.g., sales, conversion, inventory).Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly preferred for data manipulation and reporting.Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to interact, coordinate, and build strong relationships with multiple internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Commercial, Warehouse).A highly motivated self-starter who takes ownership of tasks, is passionate about driving measurable results, and is comfortable thriving in a fast-moving, dynamic business environment.Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a demanding workload autonomously.Innovative and proactive problem-solver capable of dissecting the root causes of issues and implementing sustainable solutions.Additional Information
