Job descriptionBachelor of Laws (LLB). Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) or its equivalent. Newly called lawyers or those with up to 1 year PQE are encouraged to apply. Independent, proactive, diligent, self-motivated, and committed. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Prime location at Wisma UOA 2, Kuala Lumpur Convenient access to public transport (KTM & LRT) Comprehensive on-the-job training and guidance for newcomers Supportive work-life balance environment
Responsibilities
- Handle a wide range of civil litigation matters including corporate, commercial, contractual, banking, real property, estate, family law (divorce), adoption, citizenship law, tortious disputes and more.
- Take and manage client instructions.
- Draft pleadings, cause papers, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Represent clients in court hearings and trials.
