We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist to join the IT team at InTest Corporation. The role is based in Bandar Cassia, Penang, Malaysia, with a hybrid remote schedule after training and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, networking, helpdesk operations, Power BI, and cyber security, and will coordinate and execute IT initiatives to support business growth, efficiency, and information security.

Job Overview

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the efficient operation, security, and support of the organization’s IT systems and network infrastructure. This role combines hands‑on technical support, network administration, project management, and compliance oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, including LAN / WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware and software.
• Work with and implement the policies and processes of the corporate organization.
• Ensure system security, data protection, and network reliability through appropriate backup systems, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
• Manage the IT helpdesk, provide support for internal users, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and networking, and implement best practices for end‑user support, ensuring timely responses and issue resolution.
• Continuously assess the organization’s IT needs, recommending technology solutions and improvements to optimize business performance.
