Safety and Health Officer

Overview

This full-time Safety and Health Officer role is primarily responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of occupational health and safety policies and procedures across our company operations in Ipoh, Perak. You will play a pivotal part in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce and compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate health and safety risks
• Deliver training and awareness programs to educate employees on safe work practices
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety laws and regulations
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the company\'s health and safety management system
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on all health and safety matters
