Overview
The Certification Manager will be responsible for designing, managing, and strengthening our certification programs to enhance their credibility, market value, and recognition. While not a direct sales role, this position plays a critical part in driving revenue growth by ensuring certifications are competitive, industry-recognized, and appealing to HR professionals and organizations alike. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong expertise in accreditation standards, curriculum design, and stakeholder engagement. This person will work closely with the sales team, marketing, and academic / industry experts to elevate the brand and create certification pathways that employers and professionals trust.
Responsibilities
- Manage certification processes, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Track enrolments, completions, pass rates, and revenue impact from certification programs.
- Provide management reports on program performance and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and continuous improvement of SHRM certification programs.
- Ensure certification content is up-to-date, industry-relevant, and aligned with global HR standards and practices.
- Establish frameworks for competency mapping, assessments, and learning outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with accreditation requirements.
- Build strong credibility for certifications by engaging industry experts, regulators, and accreditation bodies.
- Develop and monitor assessment methodologies (assignments, projects, case studies, etc.) that reflect professional practice.
- Ensure certification pathways are recognized by employers and HR professionals as industry gold standards.
- Collaborate with industry leaders, professional bodies, and academic institutions to strengthen partnerships and program relevance.
- Act as a subject matter resource for clients, employers, and learners considering certification options.
- Provide guidance to the sales and marketing team to articulate the value proposition of certification offerings.
- Drive certification program adoption through innovative positioning and alignment with market demand.
- Monitor trends in HR, learning, and workforce development to identify new certification opportunities.
- Work with sales / marketing to create targeted campaigns that highlight the credibility and career-boosting benefits of SHRM certifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of experience in certification program management, accreditation, or HR learning & development.Strong knowledge of HR competency frameworks, accreditation requirements, and adult learning methodologies.Proven ability to develop programs that drive industry credibility and revenue growth.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.Strong analytical skills to measure program success and ROI.#J-18808-Ljbffr
